About the Event

required before attending.
Equine-assisted learning provides a unique and non-threatening environment where children can express and process their emotions related to grief, allowing them to develop a sense of trust and safety with the horses and trained facilitators.
Interacting with horses can help children identify, understand, and manage their emotions, including those associated with grief, such as sadness, anger, and guilt, by using the horse's behavior and body language as a metaphor for their own emotional experiences.
The bond formed between the child and the horse can serve as a catalyst for healing and growth, enabling children to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and work through their grief in a healthy and constructive manner, with the support of trained equine-assisted learning professionals.
